| Пошлости и разврату о. Сергием противопоставляется душевная любовь: " Можно вспомнить также песни " Uriah Heep " - " Июльское утро " и " Rolling Stones " - " Энджи " (Ангел). Редко кто с такой высокой поэзией пел о любви. А композиция группы " Animals " " Дом восходящего солнца " - настоящий шедевр музыкального творчества " . Во-первых, исполнение любовных песен не есть какая-либо добродетель. Во-вторых, нельзя же их рассматривать в отрыве от всего творчества, считать чуждыми его духа (когда сами музыканты трубят о концептуальности собственных работ), уж тем более по ним давать оценку всей деятельности музыкального коллектива. Приведу пример: у " Rammstein " в последнем альбоме есть романтичная песенка " Stirb Nicht Vor Mir " ( " Не умирай раньше меня " ), в то же время там находится ужасная похабщина на испанском языке, название которой приводить не буду. Другой пример по приведённой цитате: в репертуаре " Rolling Stones " располагаются песни " Simpathy to the Devil " ( " Симпатия к дьяволу " ), которая является официальным гимном сатанистской церкви, " Dancing with mr. D " ( " D " - дьявол), плюс альбом " Their Satanic Majesties Request " ( " Просьба Их Сатанинских Величеств " ); думаю, этого вполне достаточно, дабы вопрос о допустимости прослушивания даже лирических песен данного ансамбля решился сам собой. О. Сергий искусственно уменьшает проблему пропаганды разврата в рок-н-ролле " , с каковой связывают и само это наименование. О. Сергий объявляет это клеветой: " Пытаются подобным же образом истолковать сам термин " рок-н-ролл " , который миллионы людей всегда понимали как " катящийся и крутящийся " в связи с характерным танцем и движением руки по струнам гитары " . В светской энциклопедической статье прочёл следующее: " Название " рок-н-ролл " происходит из песен госпел-исполнителей 40-х годов и, являясь по сути призывом к танцу, представляет собой сексуальный эвфемизм " . То же самое с массой доказательств написано в Википедии . В завершение, рассказав о страшной клевете на Бориса Гребенщикова, автор делает странный вывод: " Так что клевета на рок-музыку, ни много ни мало, наследие советской пропаганды " . |

Болели не легко (с высокой температурой, одышкой, с состоянием " нестояния " - " в лёжку " и проч, выздоровели, НО потом они решили привиться всей семьёй (через 3,5 месяца после выздоровления), на всякий случай, потому что по телевизору говорят. Дядя дважды побывал в больнице (ну, конечно, ковид, что же ещё-то после укола)-3дня в реанимации, второй-уже без неё. | While baptism exorcises sin and the devil from the baptized, the Church of England has exorcised the language of sin and the devil from its baptismal rite. Instead of rejecting “the devil and all rebellion against God” and “repenting of the sins that separate us from God and neighbor,” the baptismal initiate now simply “rejects evil, its many forms, and all its empty promises.” A woefully deleterious change which one of the members of the General Synod rightly denounces as being “more like a benediction from the Good Fairy than any church service.” Removing sin and the devil from the rite is not a matter of a slight alteration of emphasis or using new language to say essentially the same thing—it betrays something more serious: acquiescence to a cultural, secular rationalism. This is the sort of thing that Supreme Court Justice Antonin Scalia recently playfully mocked in an interview by revealing that he, as a Roman Catholic, even goes so far as to believe in the devil! In some Christian circles, imbued with a certain worldly element, believing in the devil has come to be seen as superstitious. A predominant alternative interpretation being that ‘the devil’ is metaphorical language for evil acts, sinful desires, temptations, and the like, but not an actual, personal being. This, of course, flies in the face of the Bible and all of historic Christianity, as fitfully represented here by the language of ancient baptismal rites. In an increasingly godless England (and Europe), there are presumably pressures to make the faith more palatable in a hostile culture. Meanwhile, speaking of sin and repentance too much—or at all—is similarly unfashionable. Late-modern, western culture so prizes individual self-determination as the ultimate good that the language of ‘sin’ itself comes into direct conflict with such ‘good.’ Of course, in some sense, it was always this way: the gospel is an offense to the world (1 Cor. 1:18). What’s somewhat novel here is the extent to which the worldly has infiltrated the putative Christian. |

The first week of Holy and Great Lent has ended a week of intensified prayer and ascetical repentance. Now the Holy Church, desiring to encourage and console us, has established for us in this first week of Great Lent, on its first Sunday, a spiritual celebration, one most dear and close to our hearts—The Triumph of Orthodoxy. This celebration was first performed in 842 in Constantinople in the presence of the Blessed Empress Theodora by His Holiness Patriarch Methodius in memory of the overthrow of the last terrible heresy to shake Christ " s Church, the heresy of iconoclasm. But in this celebration the Holy Church marks the triumph of the holy Orthodox faith in general, her victory over all impious heresies, false teachings and schisms. Our Lord Jesus Christ the Savior founded His Church on earth so that all belonging to her could be saved, could elude the nets of the devil and enter into the Heavenly Kingdom prepared for them. The devil exerted all his strength to overthrow and destroy the Church of Christ and, through this, to hinder the salvation of men. At first he raised up terrible persecutions against the Church by the Jews and pagans. For almost three centuries the blood of Christian martyrs flowed without ceasing. But the devil did not succeed in his task. The blood of the martyrs, according to the apt statement of the Christian apologist Tertullian, became the seeds of Christians. Christianity triumphed over its persecutors. The meek lambs of Christ " s flock transformed the wolf-like rage of their persecutors into lamb-like meekness. |
| The Church calls such false teaching heresy and the false teachers – heretics. When general persecution of the Christians ceased, heresies’ especially started to trouble the life of the Church. The Devil, unable to defeat the Church from without, began to attack it from within. Following the example of the Apostles, councils of bishops, pastors, and teachers of the Church from the whole known world were convened for the struggle against the heretics and for the instruction of all Christians in the correct Orthodox faith When it was necessary to resolve the question whether Christians converted from pagan religions should fulfil the ceremonies of the laws of Moses, the Holy Fathers gathered at the Apostolic Council of 51 A.D. in Jerusalem (see Acts 15:1–35). So also, the fathers of the Church, the bishops to whom the apostles transferred their power received by laying on of hands, gathered at the Councils when some sort of teaching contrary to Christian faith arose. These general conferences of the entire Christian world, called Ecumenical Councils, maintained the truth of Christ by the guidance of the Holy Spirit and participation of the whole Christian Church. There have been seven Ecumenical Councils. At the First and Second Ecumenical Councils, the Symbol of Faith or Creed was composed. The Creed is a short statement of all the tenets of the Orthodox Christian faith. Every Orthodox Christian is obliged to know it. We sing it at the Divine Liturgy and recite it during our morning prayers. The Seventh Ecumenical Council defended and affirmed the veneration of holy icons. 65. The Schism of the Roman Church. The Enlightenment of the Slavs. Not long after the period of the Ecumenical Councils, the Western part of the Church fell away from the Ecumenical Orthodox Church and formed what eventually has become known as the Roman Catholic Church. This is how it happened. After the Apostles installed their successors to guide the Church, the bishops, who had an equal degree of priesthood, had different powers. Bishops of the smaller cities were subordinated to the bishops of the larger cities, who were called metropolitans. The metropolitans in turn were subordinated to the bishops in the capital cities, who were called patriarchs. The highest power in the Church belonged to councils to which even the patriarchs were subordinated. |

It is reported by the Information and Education Department of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church (UOC). In this program, the Primate of the UOC, His Beatitude Metropolitan Onuphry, noted, “the Lord created the Church, which is a spiritual ship, leading a man through the stormy sea of earthly life to the eternal goal of salvation. But the devil, knowing that the Church was a ship of salvation, began to fight against the Church.” According to His Beatitude, at first people tried to destroy the Church through the physical extermination of Christians. However, says His Beatitude, “as the early Christian writer Tertullian wrote, the blood of the martyrs became the seed of Christianity. One Christian died – ten appeared instead. As early as the beginning of the 4th century, the Edict of Milan was adopted and the Church began to exist officially and legally.” It was at that time, as the Archpastor noted, that the devil “began to stir up heresies and schisms” in order to destroy Christianity in an alternative way. In addition, Metropolitan Onuphry spoke about the First Ecumenical Council, which took place in 325 in Nicea with the participation of St. Nicholas the Wonderworker and St. Spyridon of Trimythous, at which the heresy of Arianism was condemned and the first seven lines of the Creed were composed. Recalling the “Disgrace of Arius” by St. Nicholas, His Beatitude stressed that the hierarch did this “not for himself, but for the glory of God”. |
