| Поэтому власть большевиков боялась не только внешней агрессии, но и внутренних врагов. В результате жертвой революционного насилия стали многие советские люди, в числе которых было немало невиновных. О причине несоразмерного применения насилия можно судить, если вспомнить выражение Отто фон Бисмарка, первого канцлера Германской империи. Он как-то сказал: « Революции готовят гении, делают фанатики-романтики, а ее плодами пользуются проходимцы». И это так. После социалистической революции в Компартии и государственных органах Советского Союза оказалось немало проходимцев, типа Шарикова и Швондера. Они, имитируя бурную социалистическую деятельность, попутно безжалостно расправлялись с теми, кто им мешал и был способен разоблачить их некомпетентность. Кстати, та же ситуация имела место в Великой Французской революции 1789-1794 гг. Повторюсь. Если утверждать, что насилие является сутью коммунизма, тогда следует признать, что сутью христианства также является насилие. Однако никому в голову не приходит отождествлять идеи Христа с религиозной нетерпимостью и насилием. Почему же насилие, осуществленное людьми, провозгласившими себя «истинными коммунистами», следует отождествлять с действительным коммунизмом (в нашем случае социализмом)? Императив двойных стандартов Продолжая разговор о преступлениях против Человечества, необходимо особо высказаться об апологетах современного капитализма, который во имя расширения своих рынков и влияния идут на самые чудовищные преступления. Причем эти преступления оправдываются тем, что они якобы вершатся «во имя всеобщего блага» человечества и «развития демократии». Получается, во имя этих фальшивых ценностей Соединенные Штаты и их союзники по НАТО на своих бомбах принесли «демократию по-американски» в Югославию, Афганистан, Ирак, Ливию, Сирию и целый ряд других стран. Это не случайно, так в XXI веке западный мир живет и действует согласно «императиву двойных стандартов». Этот императив в начале 2000-х годов разработал и обосновал английский дипломат Роберт Купер по просьбе тогдашнего премьер-министра Тони Блэра. Принцип «двойных стандартов» в межгосударственных отношениях известен давно. Но Купер его осовременил и сформулировал следующие принципы функционирования современного западного мира. | Tweet Нравится Antiochian Western Diocese episcopal appointment causes concern October 28, 2016 On Wednesday, October 26, a press conference was held outside the St. Nicholas Antiochian Orthodox Cathedral in Los Angeles, reports pokrov.org . The topic was unpleasant, but one which has many in the diocese deeply concerned—clergy and laity alike. In a letter dated October 6, His Eminence Metropolitan Joseph of the Antiochian Orthodox Christian Archdiocese of North America announced the appointment of Bishop Demetri as vicar bishop of the Diocese of the West, saying “I would like and expect you to welcome His Grace Bishop DEMETRI to your parishes and to treat him as though I myself was visiting you.” The concern arises from Bishop Demetri Matta Khoury’s February 25, 2004 conviction for attempted fourth degree criminal sexual misconduct. He was arrested July 9, 2003 after appearing plain-clothed and visibly intoxicated in a Michigan casino where he grabbed a woman’s breast. He stated that he didn’t remember the night, but plead guilty after viewing the casino’s security footage. He was sentenced to twenty-eight days in jail with two years of probation, and required to register as a sex offender, although his conviction and classification were both later revoked after he appealed in 2014. Bishop Demetri was granted retirement following his conviction, but while still a registered sex offender was appointed as auxiliary bishop for the Antiochian Archdiocese of Mexico, though the Synod again retired him in 2009 due to public outcry. Given this history, many are concerned about personal safety, and struggling to understand this move on the part of Met. Joseph, what message the diocese is sending about sexual abuse, and how to best proceed in this difficult situation. 28 октября 2016 г. | Prayers requested for Egypt " s Coptic Christians/Православие.Ru Prayers requested for Egypt " s Coptic Christians October 20, 2011 Bishop Serapion of Los Angeles, Coptic Orthodox Church. Recent violence in Egypt resulting in the deaths of Coptic Christians has caused suffering and anxiety in the Coptic community in the United States. On behalf of the Orthodox Church in America, Archpriest Leonid Kishkovsky, Director of External Affairs and Interchurch Relations, spoke with leaders of the Coptic Church in America, expressing the concern and solidarity of the Orthodox Church in America. He conveyed to the Coptic leaders a message of sympathy from His Beatitude, Metropolitan Jonah, and the Holy Synod of the OCA. One of the Coptic leaders, His Grace, Bishop Serapion, was on the way to the airport to travel to Cairo when he spoke with Father Leonid. Bishop Serapion expressed his appreciation for the love and solidarity of the Orthodox Church in America, and promised to share his impressions of the situation upon his return from Egypt. Dramatic events in Egypt during the year 2011 have seen the end of the rule of President Mubarak as a result of demonstrations and popular pressure. At the same time, there has been the danger of the emergence of extremist movements. In Egypt, 10% of the population is Coptic Christian, led by Pope Shenouda. In the majority Muslim population, the possible emergence of extremist political or religious groups would put the minority Christian population at risk. The largest community of Christians in the Middle East is the Coptic Church of Egypt. In Egypt, there are also small Catholic and Protestant communities, as well as the historic Greek Orthodox Patriarchate of Alexandria. Most recently, military and security forces dealt with demonstrators for democracy violently, resulting in the deaths of some twenty-five Coptic Christians. This violence has been deeply wounding to the Coptic community, and indeed to the whole of Egyptian society. Egyptians who are Muslim by faith have come forward with expressions of solidarity with the Coptic Church and the Christian minority. It is the request of Metropolitan Jonah that the clergy and faithful of the Orthodox Church in America offer fervent prayers for the Coptic Church and for all Christian churches in Egypt and the Middle East. | Хотел бы остановиться на нескольких моментах, касающихся истории и нынешнего положения Федерального резерва США. Люди, которые глубоко интересуются Федеральным резервом, наверное, помнят, что в 2012 году в мировых СМИ стала горячо обсуждаться тема возможного закрытия ФРС США. Некоторые эксперты утверждали, что 23 декабря 2012 года Федеральный резерв должен будет остановить работу своего “печатного станка”. Это утверждение строилось на том, что, мол, по американскому праву срок действия лицензии, или концессии, или “хартии” (по-английски – chart) не может превышать 99 лет. 23 декабря 1913 года Конгресс США принял закон о ФРС, согласно которому он передал свои полномочия по части эмиссии денег (они определены Конституцией США) организации, называемой “Федеральная резервная система США”. Но не навечно. А на срок. Какой?», – задается вопросом автор. «Знатоки обратились к тексту того документа, который был принят конгрессом 23 декабря 1913 года. В разделе 4 указанного закона (в том виде, как он был принят в 1913 году) сказано, что полномочия Федеральным резервным банкам, составляющим ФРС (всего их двенадцать), предоставляются на срок 20 лет, т. е. до конца 1933 года. При этом оговаривалось, что полномочия могут быть отозваны и ранее указанного срока, если Конгрессом США будет принят по этому поводу специальный закон или если Федеральный резерв будет нарушать положения закона 1913 года. Для наиболее пытливых приведу этот фрагмент документа на английском языке: “To have succession for a period of twenty years from its organization unless it is sooner dissolved by an Act of Congress, or unless its franchise becomes forfeited by some violation of law” (P.L. 63-43, 38 STAT. 251, 12 USC 221). Ни о каких 99 годах “лицензии” в законе 1913 года упоминания вообще нет. Закон 1913 года предусматривал все те же двадцать лет, на которые Конгресс США выдавал лицензии Первому банку Соединенных Штатов (в 1791 году) и Второму банку Соединенных Штатов (в 1816 году). Отцы-основатели Америки хорошо понимали, насколько опасным является зверь по имени “центральный банк”. Именно поэтому они и записали в Конституции США, что право эмиссии денег принадлежит Конгрессу США. Work was carried out in twenty-four churches and chapels last year, and thirty-five objects were examined for further restoration. “In all, over ten years we have examined over 350 chapels and churches, 127 of which needed emergency or repair work. There are about 700 churches in the North, most of which require repair or restoration,” Yakovlev said. One of the program’s problems is attracting volunteers, Yakovlev stated. The project’s 2016 trips involved more than 500 people, and a carpentry school has trained 110 people, but “Of course, this is a drop in the ocean,” according to the administrator. A nationwide government movement is needed, in his opinion, to save the country’s monuments of wooden and stone architecture. The “Common Cause” project was created ten years ago as a public volunteer movement for the preservation and revival of the churches and chapels of Russia’s northern regions.
