Carl Osis testifies that while researching the question of death among Hindus it was determined that approximately one-third had at the time of death feelings of fear, depression and extreme anxiety at the appearance of the «yamdoots,» the Hindu angel of death, and other terrible beings from beyond. (esr Osis, Karl and Haraldson, Erlendur, «At the Hour of Death,» New York, Avon Books, 1972, pg. 90). Evidently, the Hindu religion with its pagan mysticism can contribute to the nearing of a person with the otherworldly forces of evil resulting in distressing visions at the time of death. From the writing of the Holy Fathers, we know that the devil " s beguilement – is a genuine danger. Apostle Paul warns «…For Satan himself transforms himself into an angel of light» ( 2Cor. 11:14 ). Notwithstanding, the devil does not have the power to beguile all, when and as he would like. God restricts his actions. If a man is proud and thirsts to see something super-natural, wonderful, something that others are not worthy to see, he is in great danger of mistaking a demon for an angel. In spiritual literature this condition is called «enchantment» (from the word «seduction» or «allurement»). In peril of falling into such a state are many willful novices, self-satisfied ascetics, self-proclaimed prophets and healers, as well as people engaged in foolish mysticism, such as; transcendental meditation, yoga, spiritualism, occultism and so forth. From the accounts of those who had postmortem experiences, there seems to be no indication that they engaged in such practices. In most cases, these were ordinary citizens who by way of some physical ailment died, but thanks to the efforts of their doctors and the success of modern medicine were revived. They were not expecting supernatural visions and, to all appearances, what they saw was allowed by the grace of God so that they might approach their lives with greater thoughtfulness. It " s hard to agree with the idea that the Lord allowed the devil to mislead these victims, uninitiated in the spiritual world. Moreover, in accordance with stories gathered by Dr. Morse this same Light was seen by many children who, considering their purity and innocence, are under the protection of the Almighty.

If the Dreadful Few are in the struggle for survival, then the Goyim must swiftly be eliminated. That is certainly consistent with Darwin’s grand scheme. If people cannot see this and try to avoid this vital contradiction, then you can be sure that they are not to be taken seriously or they do not understand logic. So, when people are trying to maintain an objective morality by either appealing to the so-called “evolutionary theory” or even DNA, then you can be sure that those people either are out of touch with the scholarly literature, are not well equipped to understand or articulate their own position, or are just deliberately lying. Furthermore, to appeal to reciprocal altruism to prove objective morality, a central protocol in Darwin’s grand scheme, is also a dead end because the life of Mother Theresa and countless other examples prove that this idea will not work. I was hoping that modern Darwinists would make some good improvement on this warfare theory, but so far virtually everyone has failed. I am certainly not asking people to drop their cherished belief. In fact, there are many people who believe in the tooth fairy. But so long that this neo-Darwinian ideology remains intellectually stupid and morally indefensible, they can leave me out of it. Going back to Putin, he said in 2013: “People in many European countries are ashamed, and are afraid of talking about their religious convictions. [Religious] holidays are being taken away or called something else, shamefully hiding the essence of the holiday.” The Zionist regime, of course, made the false accusation that Putin was persecuting homosexuals. But Putin moved on to diffuse the regime’s silly argument this way: “We need to respect the rights of minorities to be different, but the rights of the majority should not be in question.” So, yes, Patrick Buchanan. Putin is one of us. Any serious politician who stands against the Mephistophelian establishment is one of us. As Friedrich Hansen of Asia Times put it, “Make no mistake, Putin is not targeting homosexuals, as he made clear with his welcoming them to the Sochi Olympics. It also seems only fair to remind Western readers that ever since the 1980s, Sochi has been the center of Russia with a vibrant homosexual subculture. Rather, Putin is addressing the whole gamut of post-modern incarnations of the ‘sex and drugs’ revolution: binge drinking of both genders until the doctors move in, elite illicit drug use, unmanageable crime rates, surging divorce numbers, Hook-Up sex on campus, out of wedlock births, fathers and mothers in puberty, abortion on demand, public nudism and human copulation in parks, gay promiscuity with a good conscience, swinger clubs and darkrooms, ruthless Internet dating and pornography and what have you.”

Saint Epiphanius of Cyprus said, “One look at sacred books rouses one to a pious life.” Reading of the Holy Fathers must be careful, attentive and constant; our invisible enemy (Satan), hating the voice of surety (Proverbs 11:15), is especially hateful when this voice comes from the Holy Fathers. This voice exposes the schemes of our enemy, his slyness; it reveals his webs, his mode of action. Therefore the enemy arms himself against reading of the Fathers with various proud and blasphemous thoughts; he seeks to plunge the struggler for salvation into vain cares, so as to divert him from salutary reading; he attacks him with despair, boredom, and forgetfulness. From this warfare against the reading of the Holy Fathers, we ought to conclude how salutary a weapon it is for us, being so hated by the enemy. The enemy strives mightily to throw it out of our hands. Let each one choose reading of the Holy Fathers for himself in accordance with his way of life. Let the recluse read the Fathers who wrote on hesychasm; the monk living in a community-Fathers writing the directions for monastic communities; the Christian living amid the world-the Holy Fathers who pronounce their teachings in general for all Christendom. Let each one, whatever his calling, draw abundant admonition (advice) from the writings of the Fathers. Without fail reading must be in accordance with your way of life. Otherwise, you will find yourself with thoughts, which, even though holy, cannot be carried out in actual action, inciting fruitless activity only in your imagination and wishes; acts of piety, which are not in accordance with you way of life, will slip from your hands. It is not enough that you will become a fruitless daydreamer; your thoughts, being in constant contradiction to your round of activity, will unfailingly give birth to unceasing confusion in your heart, uncertainty in your behavior, which are burdensome and harmful for yourself and for your neighbor. With improper reading of the Holy Scriptures and Holy Fathers, you can easily wander from the way of salvation into impassable thickets and deep pits, which, indeed, has happened to many.

The word anathema means severance, rejection. When the Church anathematizes a teaching, it means that that teaching contains blasphemy against the Holy Spirit, and for the sake of salvation it should be rejected and removed, as poison is removed from food. When a person is anathematized, it means that he has irreversibly adopted a blasphemous teaching, and through them deprives himself and those near him, to whom he has imparted his line of thought, of salvation. When a person has made the commitment to abandon the blasphemous teaching and to receive the teachings upheld in the Orthodox Church, he is obligated, according to the rules of the Orthodox Church, to anathematize the false teaching that he formerly upheld, which was destroying him, alienating him from God, keeping him locked in enmity against God, in blasphemy against the Holy Spirit and communion with satan. The meaning of anathema is the meaning of the Church's spiritual cure of an illness in the human soul, which causes eternal death. All human teachings cause eternal death if they introduce their own thinking drawn from reason falsely so-called, from carnal mindedness—that common heritage of fallen spirits and men—into the God-revealed teaching about God. Human philosophies introduced into the teachings of the Christian Faith are called heresies, and adherence to these teachings is called evil belief. Hearing today the dreadful pronouncement of spiritual cure, let us accept it with the true understanding of it; and pressing it to our souls, let us sincerely and decisively renounce those destructive teachings that the Church will strike down with anathema unto the salvation of our souls. If we have always renounced them, then through the voice of the Church let us confirm our renunciation of them. The spiritual freedom, lightness, and strength that we will unfailingly feel within ourselves is a testimony to us of the rightness of the Church’s action, and the truth of the teaching it proclaims. The Church pronounces:

The establishment of planetary Satanic rule. What’s occurring here is the very beginning of a global war. Not for resources or territory, that’s secondary. This is a war for the destruction of true Christianity, Orthodoxy. The worldview of the wealthiest men who own almost all the material goods in the world is Satanism. Having summoned the elements of the First and Second World Wars and a Third Information War, and having laid hundreds of millions of the slain at the altar of their father, Satan, they have initiated the Fourth World War. They are intentionally hastening the reign of Antichrist. As with [ROC spokesman] Vsevolod Chaplin, it’s tempting to dismiss all this as the ravings of a lone nut, but these are no longer fringe views in Putin’s Russia.  Jihad is not a word to be used lightly, given its sinister connotations to the West after 9/11, but this bears more than a little resemblance to Holy War in a Russian and Orthodox variant. Read the whole thing. Schindler, who clearly does not endorse Ilyinism, says it would be ironic if the last defender of traditional European Christianity was a Russian Orthodox ex-KGB colonel. I think Schindler’s take on Putin as leader of the Anti-WEIRD coalition is perceptive. Excerpt: I’ll elaborate what Putinism actually is, but before I do, it’s important to understand why President Obama and countless other Westerners cannot see what is right before them. Putin and the Kremlin actively parrot their propaganda, they are doing anything but hide it, yet we still cannot make it out. This is simply because we are WEIRD. That’s social science shorthand for Western, Educated, Industrialized, Rich, and Democratic – and nobody is WEIRDer than Americans. In the last several decades many Americans, and essentially all our elites, have internalized a worldview based on affluence, individualism, and secularism that makes us unique, globally speaking. So much so that we seem unable to comprehend that there actually are opposing viewpoints out there.

It could not be otherwise, for the African is neither as the contemporary European, worn out by centuries of dizzying ideologies and spent on a myriad of humanistic philosophies, nor as the typical American, quick to compromise and moderate things in order to achieve outward success. His noble, humble soul still inclines toward the other world and his simple, intuitive mind still has a healthy disposition for the noetic realm. A few months before his departure from this life, Father Cosmas visited the monastery of his repentance and spoke to the pilgrims there of this African nobility and their desire for authentic, ascetic Orthodoxy. Bishop Athanasios Yievtich, a close disciple of the great contemporary Church Father, Archimandrite Justin Popovich, was present and relates what Fr. Cosmas had to say: “They are people with a sensitivity and awareness of the inner world. Europeans usually underestimate them, but they are very mistaken. The soul of the African inclines toward mysticism and for this reason Orthodoxy has something to say to them and something to offer, but only authentic Orthodoxy— monastic, hagiorite Orthodoxy. For among the brethren of Africa, witchcraft and magic holds great sway, a real demonocracy. In Africa, I saw how true the Gospel of Christ is! Everything that He said about the possession of men by the demons, I saw first hand. However, the Living and True God is more powerful than Satan and all his servants. Let it be understood, however, that true missionary-apostolic work cannot be carried out in Africa if one does not decide to leave his bones there.” And so in teaching the native Africans the entire Gospel of Christ and revealing to them the undistorted Image of the God-man and His Church, it was only to be expected that his self-offering would likewise be complete and unqualified. In his “unique, genuine and very useful” study on mission work, entitled Thoughts about Missionary Work from Experience, he lays out the cornerstone principle for all who would follow his example:

How many children did he have? He had 3 sons dying in infancy, and 5 daughters with only three reaching adulthood. Does it mean that he was only perpetuated in daughters? Muhammad was only succeeded by his daughters. Are there any surviving descendants? Yes, of course. The King of Morocco 101 is one. There are some in Russia. Muhammad’s descendants survive today. What about his adopted son? Are his descendants… Since he was proclaimed not to be… Actually, the surviving descendants are the Sheikhs ruling in Saudi Arabia, descending from Zayd 102 . Yet, the adoption being revoked, they are informal only. The Quran emerged in a heathen, non-Christian environment, and was not intended for anti-Christian strife. There was no such intention, for Muhammad believed that Christians were his allies against the Hebrew. As a matter of fact, Muhammad’s original intention was to unite with the Jews but he failed in that, and only Christians supported him. That is, they actually saved early Muslims in Ethiopia from extermination. Is there anything positive in Islam? Islam actually emerged in a pagan environment as a monotheistic religion. What is meant by “positive”? Any confession has some positive elements. There are right and just elements in paganism too, like recognition of the Creator, or traditional Arabic virtues including loyalty, sticking to one’s word and aversion to treachery. Both paganism and Islam have their positive concepts. As of monotheism proper… Well, worship of the one false God is no good, is it? In principle, monotheism could be referred to as satanism as well. But this won’t do. Worshipping the one Satan is bad. I am not saying that Islam is satanism, it would not be right. It just means that monotheism is not progressive in itself. All the more, there were the Hebrew, and the Christians. Native Arabians knew both. Could the Quran represent the Old Testament for Arabians? Could it be a step to the Gospel? By no means so. The Quran derives from human sources. It cannot be too highly stressed that Muhammad was no scoundrel, no way. It would be wrong to present him as a willful freak like Grabovoy, ready to do anything for money. This would do him an injustice. He did have some inspirations though they certainly came from an evil source. The Old Testament revelations, however, derive from a good source. Religion is not to be structured in political terms. Religion means human attitude to a superhuman world, the world of angels. In this view, Muhammad was primarily tempted by the evil, which is certainly quite different. Moreover, I daresay that it was the Quran that prevented Arabians from adopting Christianity.

In the ritual today they still turn to the West, the symbolic dominion of Satan, and spit lifting up hands to appeal to God. Then the catechumen turns to the East, which symbolizes reorientation to the Paradise offered through Christ, and bows down, keeping the hands lowered to indicate surrender and submission. The priest then repeatedly asks the catechumen to confirm that he or she is united to Christ and believes in him as God. The catechumen confirms an unconditional commitment, faithfulness to Christ, and recites the Niceno-Constantinopolitan creed. At this point baptism itself begins with a solemn blessing of the waters. There are several elements of Orthodox Baptism: the anointing of the catechumen with blessed oil, the triple immersion in the sanctified water, the simultaneous baptismal formula of the invocation of the divine names of the Holy Trinity, and the “completion” of the water baptism with the “Seal of the Holy Spirit” in the Chrismation of the candidate with consecrated myron. The candidate is robed in white (the original meaning of the word candidatus) after the immersion, and their hair is cut (tonsured) as a sign of their vow (dedication to God). The ritual blessing of water starts with the solemn doxology: “Blessed is the Kingdom of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit.” Then a long litany follows: “that this water may be sanctified with the power and effectual operation and the descent of the Holy Spirit.” The power of the Holy Spirit visible through the sacrament is understood to recreate the fallen world, symbolized by the water, transforming it into the waters of redemption. Baptism makes the catechumen a partaker of the Kingdom of God through their sharing in the death and resurrection of Christ: their mystical embodiment with him. Through the blessing, the water of creation, corrupted by the Fall, now turns into the water of Jordan, the water of sanctification, the remission of sins, and salvation. Then the baptismal water is anointed by the pouring in of blessed oil which here symbolizes healing, joy, and reconciliation. The triple immersion follows, symbolizing the three-day burial and resurrection of Christ, and the passing of the Israelites through the Red Sea, which is always performed in the name of the Holy Trinity. There are certain exceptions to this strict rule of immersion; for instance, those who are sick can be baptized by aspersion – that is, they have water poured over their heads – but this is never relaxed so as to become a standard alternative form in Orthodoxy.
