Как найти золотую середину между строгостью и излишней мягкостью в отношениях с детьми? Как правильно хвалить и наказывать ребенка? Есть ли случаи, когда стоит прибегать к физическому воздействию? The name in Egyptian ought to bear the sense «drawn out» «brought forth». И затем объясняя первоначальное значение и употребление слова MOS, говорит: «In his “Hieroglyphic Dictionary” M. Brugsch shows that the sense «drawing out» is the original one. It is taken from the work of the potter (p. 705). It there means «produce», «bring forth·, and, as M. Brugsch affirms in another passage (p. 698), the derivation of from the Hebrew root , traxit, extraxit, specially also in the senseextraxit e ventre matris» would preserve the true sense of the Egyptian. 754 Ihid. 484: The word m a s i in the sense «to bring» is common... It would be quite intelligible in Egyptian were we to read, «She called his name Masi, saying because I brought (masi) him out of the waters». It is, however, doubtful whether such a proper name would be in accordance with Egyptian usage. Again, it might be possible, with our knowledge of Egyptian, to give a more plansible etymology derived from the word «water», than either of those which Jablonsky and other scholars formerly proposed. The phonetic value of the group (следуют три волнистые линии – обычный иероглифический знак воды) is admitted to be Mu or Mo, and shi denotes a child. Mo-shi, a water-child, would not be an impossible transcription or rendering, were it justified by Egyptian usage.

Bishop Longin, other church officials break ground on new St. Sava cemetery Source: Chicago Tribune November 14, 2016 The cemetery site north of the Merrillville church will be used by Orthodox Church members of all ethnicities, with the first of three phases holding 2,100 grave sites. Photo: http://www.chicagotribune.com/      With prayer and a special blessing, clergy and church members broke ground Saturday on a new cemetery at St. Sava Serbian Orthodox Church in Merrillville, which will serve Orthodox Church members of all ethnic groups. A solemn procession led by His Grace Bishop Longin and priests from several Orthodox parishes in Indiana and Illinois brought church members from St. Sava church building north to the site where the cemetery will be built. Ground was broken with gold-colored shovels, and the dirt blessed before it was placed around a cross marking the location of the first grave site. " It " s a beautiful project. It keeps us all together, " said the Rev. Marko Matic, parish priest of St. Sava, which has about 380 members. " It will be an Orthodox cemetery, allowing our parishioners to be buried with all the Orthodox customs and traditions. " Of special significance, he said, was that the ceremony took place on St. Varnava (Nastic) Day, marking the day the Gary native was consecrated a saint. " He was the first child baptized at St. Sava when it was in Gary. Today is his day, " Matic said. The Rev. Bogan Zjalic, assistant priest at St. Sava, said a committee began working on bringing an Orthodox cemetery to the site five years ago because so many parishioners requested one. Previously, many church members traveled as far as Gurnee, Ill., or New Carlisle, Ind., to bury loved ones in an Orthodox cemetery, he said. About 40 acres owned by St. Sava in the 9100 block of Mississippi Street have been earmarked for the cemetery, with another 80 acres available if needed. The new cemetery has had support from Russian, Greek, Romanian and Ukrainian Orthodox churches in Illinois and Indiana, Zjalic said. Church member Radmila Milivojevic said the cemetery is not only important for members of the Serbian church, but for all ethnicities of the Orthodox Church. Three phases are planned, with 2,100 grave sites in the first phase, church president Danica Pejnovic said. Planting grass and the remainder of the asphalt work needed for the first phase will be done in spring, officials said. Chicago Tribune 14 ноября 2016 г. Natalia Poklonskaya: “the Theotokos is guiding our Russia”/Православие.Ru Natalia Poklonskaya: “the Theotokos is guiding our Russia” Simferopol, July 10, 2015      In her interview with The Komsomolskaya Pravda Russian newspaper the Prosecutor General of the Republic of Crimea Natalia Poklonskaya answered the question, why she particularly venerated the Holy Russian Emperor and Passion-Bearer Nicholas II Alexandrovich. She also was asked whether she believed that monarchy would return in the future.      “Indeed it was a flagrant crime when Tsar Nicholas Alexandrovich was dethroned and then all his family was brutally murdered,” said the Crimea’s Prosecutor General. “And what is better and what will be next: a monarchy or a republic—is not my business”. With the delegation of the Orthodox Army Mission and the myrrh-streaming icon of Tsar Nicholas II – a photo from Natalia Poklonskaya’s Facebook page      “One nun had a vision: she was told to go down to the church vault in Kolomenskoye and find a “black board”. She was to wash it “so that it could become red,” and then she would see an image of the Mother of God on it . And indeed, the “Reigning” Icon of the Most Holy Theotokos was found in the church vault. That find bore deep significance. Following the murder of the royal family the Mother of God took up governing Russia. In red clothing and with Christ Child in Her arms, She is protecting and guiding our Russia. And may God help Russia to prosper,” said N. Poklonskaya, answering the question. 13 июля 2015 г.  The “Reigning” Icon of the Mother of God appeared on March 2/15, 1917, in Kolomenskoye village near Moscow (now a famous museum-reserve in Moscow situated in the district with the same name). Russia introduces restrictions on adoption of children to countries with same-sex " marriages " Moscow, February 13, 2014 The Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Dmitry Medvedev has signed a decree introducing a ban on adoption of children from Russia by same-sex couples from other countries, reports Interfax. According to the document, " adults of both sexes, with the exception of individuals who are married to individuals of the same sex whose civil unions are recognized as marriages and registered in accordance with the legislation of a state where these marriages are legalized, as well as individuals who are citizens of the mentioned state but are not married, can be adopters " . In the view of the initiative " s authors, the decree will further develop the procedure of sending children " who are without parental care, to be raised by citizens of the Russian Federation and foreign citizens, and ensure the protection of these children’s rights and interests. " Furthermore, the period of preparation and issue of a decision on whether or not a petitioner may adopt has been shortened from 15 days to 20 days. According to the new regulations, those wishing to adopt a child are no longer obligated to show a certificate of compliance of their living space with the sanitary and technical codes. On July 3 last year, Vladimir Putin signed a federal law banning adoption of orphans by same-sex couples. This measure is aimed at guaranteeing a harmonious and adequate upbringing of children in foster families, and guarding their state of mind and consciousness against such possible undesirable influences as the " unnatural imposition of non-traditional sexual behavior, and the development of complexes, mental suffering, and stress, which, according to psychologists " research, is often experienced by children brought up by same-sex parents. " The church has approved the introduced ban. " The decision to protect Russian children from such experiments is the choice of our state and our society. They have the right to make this choice, and are not under a diktat from anybody, " said Vladimir Legoida, head of the Synodal Information Department. In his view, the complex changes in the Russian Federation " s legislation, aimed at promoting children’s rights, " Are the result of a necessity that has been long been ripe. " 17 февраля 2014 г. Tweet Нравится To successfully fight abortion the government must lead, says Deputy Milonov Moscow, October 31, 2016      State Duma Deputy Vitaly Milonov believes that the fight against abortion should be waged on the state level, reports Interfax . “For starters, the government should give people a clear understanding of what the abortion procedure really is: it’s not a cosmetic operation, not preventative, not for recovery—it’s the termination of human life!” said the deputy in an interview published in “Parliamentary Gazette” on Friday. Milonov is convinced that the artificial termination of pregnancy was included in the list of services covered under mandatory health insurance by “some mistake.” “What’s the policy of obligatory medical insurance? It’s a guarantee that the state medical fund takes upon itself the function of healing people. But abortion is not healing, but quite the opposite: it’s harm to a woman’s health and the ending of a baby’s life,” he said. In his opinion, the state simply is not in the right to pay for services for women who want to kill their own child. “So why don’t we kill the elderly? There’s more reasons for that: they’re useless, they’re a liability, they smell, they get a small pension, they take up room in the apartment, they only have a short time left,” added Milonov. New Romanian saints to be officially proclaimed in May Moscow, April 24, 2017 Photo: Basilica.ro      The Romanian Orthodox Church has announced that the official proclamation of four new saints will take place on May 14 at Putna Monastery in Suceava County. The Holy Synod of the Romanian Orthodox Church announced last year on June 6 that Metropolitan Jacob Putneanul of Moldova, and the Venerable Fathers Silas, Nathan, and Paisios of Sihstria Putnei Monastery were to be added to the calendar of the Romanian Church’s saints. Their canonization was earlier proposed by the Archdiocese of Suceava and Rduiits and approved by a session of the Synod of Moldova and Bukovina on May 20 at Neam Monastery. Metropolitan Jacob (1719-1778) was the most distinguished bishop and pastor of the Moldovan Church of the eighteenth century. In 1731 he entered into the monastic ranks at Putna Monastery, being elected abbot in 1744. He served as Bishop of Radauti from 1745 to 1750, and of Moldova from 1750 to 1760, during which time he labored tirelessly to increase the spiritual level of his flock, printing spiritual literature for all ages and establishing spiritual schools. In 1760 he retired again into monastic simplicity for the remaining eighteen years of his life The holy fathers of Sihstria lived in the eighteenth century and labored at Sihstria Putnei during a time of great spiritual flowering. Burning with love for God and silent prayerful contemplation, St. Silas served as abbot from 1753 to 1781 and oversaw the founding of the Church of the Annunciation; St. Nathan served from 1781 to 1784 during a time when many monasteries of the region were being abolished; and St. Paisios, a spiritual child of St. Nathan, labored as a fervent defender of Orthodoxy and clairvoyant guide for countless souls, falling asleep on December 16, 1784. Their fragrant relics were discovered in 1990 during restoration work at Sihstriei Putna, two hundred years after the monastery had been abolished. Until today they prayerfully protect the inhabitants and pilgrims of their monastery through the grace of their relics, and have long been considered saints of God. 24 апреля 2017 г. Tweet Нравится Greek Church’s child refugee hostel gets fund rejuvenation Moscow, February 1, 2017 Photo: http://www.anglicannews.org/      According to official estimates, there are 2,300 unaccompanied minor refugees in Greece, though unofficial estimates are much higher. About 1,300 of these children have been placed in shelters, while the rest live inadequately in refugee camps, detention centers, and on the streets. The Greek Orthodox Church-run Hestia Boys Hostel in Athens has been caring for such refugees from Afghanistan, Congo, Iraq, Pakistan, and Syria since 2011. Though the hostel’s EU funding was recently suspended, the shelter been given new life from donations from various British Christian organizations, reports ACNS . The Anglican Church in Greece, along with the USPG Anglican mission agency and the Christian Aid ecumenical agency have pledged one year’s worth of emergency funding to the Hestia so it can continue to offer shelter, food, basic necessities, counseling, psychological support and health care to unaccompanied minors. “We’re delighted to be a part of this much-needed initiative,” stated USPG programs coordinator Rebecca Boardman. “Having safe and supportive accommodation gives these children hope for the future. It also means they’re off the streets and away from risks such as trafficking and exploitation.” The Hestia hostel was established by the Greek Orthodox Church’s humanitarian department Apostoli to care for the children refugee filing into Greece. Archbishop Ieronymos of Athens, the primate of the Greek Church, visited the shelter last week. Apostoli representative Vasileios Meichanetsidis said that the youth who arrive at the hostel “struggle to come to terms with their experiences of conflict and violent displacement, which are extremely raw.” Summing up the hostel’s purpose, he continued, “So we provide them with support and various activities to occupy their minds positively; we help them have a greater purpose in their life.” 1 февраля 2017 г.
