It explains in detail how distance learning should be organized and also suggests using hybrid formats, according to which a teacher or some students will not be inside the school. 1. How many lessons will there be per day and per week? A teacher must determine how many lessons per week will be conducted in the electronic format asynchronously (without direct interaction between a teacher and students on a real-time basis), and how many lessons will be conducted in the distance learning format. The optimal number is 2-4 lessons. The number of distance learning lessons for first graders should not exceed four lessons per day, it should not be more than five lessons for 2 nd -4 th grades, six lessons for 5 th -6 th grades, and seven lessons for 7 th -11 th grades. In addition to these lessons, all students should have a physical education lesson on one of the days of the week. 2. What lessons should be taught online? Lessons with a high difficulty level should be conducted in the distance learning format. They are recommended to be held as short video conferences. 3. What time will the “recess bell” be? When scheduling online lessons, teachers are advised to keep in mind that there may be children from different grades in one family and to start lessons for different lessons at different times. 4. The duration of a lesson The duration of a lesson can be 40-45 minutes, but the time that students spend in front of the computer screen should not exceed the sanitary rules and norms. For the rest of the lesson, a teacher can suggest doing independent work with the textbook, completing tasks in a notebook. 1 st -2 nd graders should not spend more than 20 minutes at the computer, 3 rd -4 th graders – more than 25 minutes, 5 th -6 th graders – more than 30 minutes, 7 th -11 th graders – more than 35 minutes. Serbian Patriarch Irinej Invites All To Edict Of Milan Celebrations Belgrade, October 3, 2013 Serbian Patriarch Irinej invited on Thursday all believers and people of goodwill to join in the final part of the marking of a great historic event – 1700 anniversary of the Edict of Milan, as the closing ceremony is scheduled to take place in Nis on Sunday, when heads of Orthodox Churches of other countries will hold a liturgy. Patriarch Irinej      “A great privilege has been bestowed upon our Church that the central ceremony of the entire Christianity be in our city, Nis, because Emperor Constantine was born in it,” Patriarch Irinej told Tanjug ahead of the gathering that the Serbian Orthodox Church (SPC) qualified as the greatest in its history. The Edict that Emperor Constantine issued gave the Christianity the freedom or right to freely preach, Patriarch Irinej said. This great event was a turning point in the history of mankind, as the European culture based on the truths of Christianity developed on its foundations, the Patriarch said. Patriarch Irinej announced that representatives of all Orthodox Churches, other Christian Churches and communities, and culture officials from the entire Christian world will gather on that occasion. Bishop of Backa Irinej, a spokesman for the SPC, announced that two holy objects will be on display at the Cathedral of St. Emperor Constantine and Empress Helena in Nis – a part of the holy cross on which Jesus Christ was crucified and a hand of St. John The Baptist. According to the schedule that was published by the SPC, a ceremonial welcome will be organized at St. Archangel Michael’s Cathedral in Belgrade on Saturday for high priests, among which Patriarch Bartholomew I, the Archbishop of Constantinople, New Rome and Ecumenical Patriarch, Patriarch Kirill of Moscow and All Rus’, and Patriarch Theophilos III of Jerusalem are expected. Serbian Patriarch Irinej in canonical visit to the Diocese of Canada Toronto, April 22, 2012 His Holiness Irinej, Serbian Patriarch arrived on Thursday, April 19, 2012 in late afternoon hours in Toronto, in his first canonical visit to the Serbian Orthodox Diocese of Canada. His Holiness was welcomed at the Toronto airport by many Serbian believers led by the priesthood of Ontario and His Grace Bishop Georgije of Canada, as well as representatives of the consulate of the Republic of Serbia in Toronto. At the seat of the Diocese of Canada, the monastery of Holy Transfiguration in Milton, after doxology at the chapel of Three Hierarchs, which was led by syngeloos Vasilije (Gavrilovic), the head of the monastery, His Holiness was greeted by Bishop Georgije of Canada. Welcoming Serbian Patriarch, Bishop asked him to bless with the blessing of St. Sava the priesthood, monks and the faithful of the Diocese of Canada. Following that the Patriarch blessed them and held a sermon. After the doxology, at the monastery guesting house a table of love was prepared. During the visit the Patriarch will enhance marking of the 25th anniversary of the Diocesan magazine and the publishing house Istocnik on April 20, 2012 at the monastery of Holy Transfiguration. — The Holy and Great Council is a Council of the whole Orthodox Church, and therefore I would not say that its significance is any different for the Russian Church than for the other Local Churches. First of all, the fact that it is being held is an confirmation of our ecclesiology, it bears witness to us and the whole world that the Orthodox Church is a Catholic Church, that the principle of conciliarity that has always been her distinguishing feature is not an inheritance of the past, but a reality for our time. The Pan-Orthodox Council is also a visible expression of the unity of our Church, testimony that, in spite of the different political conditions in which the Local Churches live, we are capable of achieving unanimity on the issues that are most important to us, since together we comprise the one Church. I believe it to be exceptionally important that the outward image of the Church serves these aims so that it becomes an exact reflection of the Orthodox ecclesiology by which all the Orthodox Churches, independent of their how ancient their origins or number of the faithful, are equal members of the body of the Universal Church. — What do you anticipate to come out of the Synod that concerns the Orthodox faithful of the 21st century? — As is well known, the Holy and Great Council, according to its schedule, will not examine any other topics other than those that have been put on the agenda and the already published six drafts of the conciliar documents. The sole exception is the Encyclical of the Council, the draft of which still has to be finalized. If we look at the documents on the agenda, then the most relevant, in my opinion, is the draft document entitled ‘The Mission of the Orthodox Church in the Contemporary World’. It gives the Church’s view on the many challenges of the modern-day world, the problems of the economic crisis, on what the Church thinks of the problem of discrimination and military conflicts. Many of these problems in their present form arose in our time and are to one degree or another relevant for Orthodox Christians of both East and West. At the same time, this is one of the documents which has attracted criticism within a number of the Local Churches.

The Metropolitan District in the Republic of Kazakhstan: A Press Conference is Held on the Arrival of the Kursk-Root Icon of the Mother of God Kazakhstan, September 12, 2011 On September 12, 2011, at 2 pm, the Press Center of Interfax-Kazakhstan in the city of Almaty, Kazakhstan, hosted a press conference on the arrival of a great holy item of Russian Orthodoxy, the Miracle-working Kursk-Root Icon of the Mother of God “of the Sign.” With the blessing of His Eminence Metropolitan Alexander of Astanai and Kazakhstan, the press conference was led by the head of the Information and Publishing Department of the Kazakhstan Metropoliate, Protopriest Evgeny Ivanov and Kazakhstan’s renowned film director and documentary maker Konstantin Kharalampidis. Participating were national and local journalists from the television, newspaper and magazine outlets, and representatives of information agencies. Before the press conference began, those in attendance were shown a segment of a film about the Kursk-Root Icon of the Mother of God. The members of the media were interested in the history of the miraculous image, miracles associated with it and its travels throughout the world.      Patriarch Kirill of Moscow and All Russia said the issue of all Orthodox Churches transitioning to a unified calendar will not be on the agenda of the Pan-Orthodox Council scheduled to be held in June. " It is very important that the calendar issue has been removed from the issues addressed by the Council. It concerned our believers greatly because false rumors were spread that everyone will be required to go over to the new style, " Patriarch Kirill told reporters following a visit to Chambesy, Switzerland, where the heads of the Orthodox Churches met to discuss preparations for the Pan-Orthodox Council. The patriarch recalled that many Churches follow the Julian calendar while some follow the Gregorian, " and so as to allow every Church to follow its own adopted calendar it was decided that the calendar issue will not be addressed by the c ouncil. " The patriarch also said all documents approved by the heads of the Orthodox churches and which will be addressed by the council will be published in the very near future. " Our Church insisted that there should be no block on these documents, but that people should be able to become familiar with them because many critical views on the upcoming council have been formed due to the absence of information. People didn " t know anything about the council, " he said. The patriarch also said he expects " a good document on the mission of Orthodox faith in the modern world, " and also a document on marriage, family and obstacles to marriage. Responding to a question as to what he expects from the upcoming council, the patriarch said: " Even more consolidation of the Orthodox world. I know that the council will not address the Ukrainian issue, it will not address the possibility of granting autocephaly [to the Ukrainian Orthodox Church of the Moscow Patriarchate] or legalization of the schism, and that has been publicly confirmed by Patriarch [of Constantinople] Bartholomew. Travelers appreciate it.   Tell Your Parish Story   Your site should sell (aka “present persuasively and with zeal”) your parish community. You are the Orthodox Church in your county, city, town, neighborhood, block – perhaps the entire state. Explain how your parish delivers the Orthodox faith. Help people who are seeking God to understand how your parish can help them to encounter the living God. They can find Orthodox doctrine many places on the web. Explain how your community lives the Orthodox.   Yes I know you’re not perfect. Avoid the tendency to wait until we’re a better icon of the Church.   Tell your story now!   Use Photos! Lots of Them! Of People! Particularly Children!   People are attracted to churches for a vast array of reasons. Certainly one of the important ones is the opportunity to interact with people in a loving way. My guess is that the interest in human interaction is more important than say their interest in your building. Pictures of your temple –big or small, beautiful or basic, outside and inside are fine. But for every picture of buildings and iconography please show a picture of parish life. Worship. Fellowship. Discipleship. Stewardship.Education.   In looking at parish websites photos, when they existed, were often stuffed in a corner called “Photos”. Aggregating photos is fine. I suspect that inquirers may gravitate to that page. But also integrate those photos with the site. Use them to illustrate a parish that radiates the light of Christ.

Archive The Church of the Georgian Diaspora in Moscow Scheduled for Restoration 4 February 2021 year 17:49 On 3rd February 2021 the bishop of Naro-Fominsk Paramonus (Golubka), the head of the directorate for finance and logistics of the Russian Orthodox Church, chaired a meeting to discuss issues concerning the restoration of the Church of the Great Martyr George ‘v Gruzinakh’, which the Georgian Orthodox diaspora in Moscow attends for spiritual sustenance and guidance. Participating in the meeting were the deputy chairman of the Department for External Church Relations of the Moscow Patriarchate archpriest Nikolai Balashov, the rector of the Church of the Holy Martyr George archpriest Feodor Krechetov, the secretary of the DECR for inter-Orthodox relations archpriest Igor Yakimchuk, the spiritual counsellor of the Georgian diaspora in Moscow and cleric of the Georgian Orthodox Church archpriest Kakhaber Gogotishvili, the advisor to the department for the cultural heritage of the city of Moscow and interaction with religious organizations I. N. Kamenskikh, the deputy director of the non- commercial unified service of the Moscow Patriarchy in its capacity as commissioner priest Mikhail Titov and the head of the department for restoration and repairs under the directorate for finance and logistics of the Russian Orthodox Church Ye. G. Inasaridze. For a long time the church building was occupied by the Krasin State College for Technology, Economics and Law. During this period windows were put in the supporting walls of the church building and additional architectural elements were added in between the floors. No repair work has been carried out for several decades. Construction engineers have at present judged the state of the building to be “unsatisfactory and in places in danger of collapse.” In 2014 the church was transferred to the parish as its own property by order of the Moscow city government.
