But the real question is this: why do the regime and their puppets hate Putin so much? Well, Putin suggested back in 2013 the Soviet government was guided by a dark force whose “ideological goggles and faulty ideological perceptions collapsed.” “The first Soviet government,” Putin added, “was 80-85 percent Jewish.” Sounds like Putin has read Alexander Solzhenitsyn ’s Two Hundred Years Together. If so, then it seems clear that he will continue to challenge the Zionist regime. Perhaps Putin has been encouraged by Solzhenitsyn’s bravery. It was Solzhenitsyn who said: “And thus, overcoming our temerity, let each man choose: will he remain a witting servant of the lies, or has the time come for him to stand straight as an honest man, worthy of the respect of his children and contemporaries?” Perhaps Putin is saying enough is enough. And this maybe one reason why nearly all the major news outlets have been relentlessly slandering him. Kevin Barrett ended up his excellent article saying, “God bless President Putin, who is putting the fear of God into the New World Order.” Let us hope that he will never be weary in well doing, for in due season he shall reap, if he faints not. Tweet Нравится “Miracle of St. Januarius” repeated in Naples cathedral Naples, September 19, 2016      The so-called “miracle of St. Januarius,” known since the end of the fourteenth century, once again occurred on Monday in the Naples cathedral during a solemn Mass, reports RIA-Novosti . That the dried blood of the Naples patron, sealed in a special capsule, again turned to liquid Cardinal Crescenzio Sepe announced. The liquefaction of the dried liquid occurred at 10:38 local time. Thousands of faithful, gathered in the church, met the good news with exuberant applause. The dried blood, considered the blood of the patron saint of Naples, as the Church affirms, becomes liquid three times a year: September 19, when believers glorify the martyr; December 16, when the Neapolitans mark the anniversary of the miraculous deliverance from the 1631 Vesuvius eruption by the saint’s intercessions, and finally, on the Saturday before the first Sunday of May, when the numerous relocations of the holy relics are commemorated. Sometimes the “miracle” occurs immediately, but sometimes it requires a few days of prayer. A number of scientific theories have been put forth to explain the phenomenon, but Neapolitans themselves believe in the miracle and hope in St. Januarius to never leave the city residents in times of trouble. St. Januarius is a hieromartyr of the late third-early fourth centuries, honored by both the Orthodox Church and Catholic communities. He suffered for preaching Christ during the reign of Roman emperor Diocletian. Translated by Jesse Dominick Pravoslavie.ru 20 сентября 2016 г. We were put in jail like criminals, endured with God’s help—Elder Ephraim of Vatopedi Moscow, March 27, 2017 Photo: athos-ukraine.com      Archimandrite Ephraim (Kutsu), abbot of Vatopedi Monastery on Mt. Athos, and thirteen other defendants were acquitted last week in a case concerning a land exchange between the Greek government and the monastery. The case dragged on for many years and saw Elder Ephraim spending three months in jail from December 2011 to March 2012. A few days after the announcement of his acquittal, Tsargrad TV aired his commentary on the matter. In the monastic’s view, the entire case was a spiritual attack: “After taking the Holy Cincture to Russia 1 , because the people received such great benefit, as soon as we returned, the devil immediately showed his strength: we were summoned to an interrogation for preliminary questioning—we were put in jail like criminals.” “We endured this all with the help of God, reconciled ourselves to it and went to jail. We thank all our brothers who prayed with us, and who endured all of this with us. We are grateful to all who helped us bear this heavy cross which the Lord allowed because of our sins,” Archimandrite Ephraim continued, showing the humility that comes from years of ascetic labors. He also referred to the words of St. Paisios the Athonite on Christ’s help for all who are unjustly condemned. “As Elder Paisios said, ‘The first to be unjustly accused and condemned was Christ. Therefore, He blesses with both hands those who are also treated unfairly.’ We thank Christ. We thank all of you, and pray for you all,” Elder Ephraim assured, concluding, “Blessed Pascha!” 27 марта 2017 г.  The Cincture of the Most-Holy Theotokos is Vatopedi’s most prized relic. Tsarist Russia Bans Internet Porn/Православие.Ru Tsarist Russia Bans Internet Porn Moscow, April 15, 2015 Vladimir Putin once said half the Internet is nothing but “porno materials.” While a major academic study in 2010 found that, in reality, just 4 percent of websites were pornographic, it " s an undisputed fact that there is indeed a lot of adult-rated material on the Web. If the Russian court system gets its way, however, the number of legal pornographic websites on the RuNet could drop to zero. That " s right: a district court in Tatarstan has banned 136 porn sites, and the language of its ruling implies that all Internet porn is hereby against the law. On April 13, 2015, the newspaper Izvestia reported that a court in Tatarstan " s Apastovsky district has ordered Roskomnadzor, the federal government " s media watchdog, to add 136 websites to its Internet blacklist, if the sites fail to purge themselves of all pornographic content within the next three days. The list of websites includes xHamster , one of the most popular destinations for pornography in the world. The local district attorney " s office, which petitioned the court to crack down on Internet porn, cited in its suit obscure international agreements from the early twentieth century, Izvestia reported. First, prosecutors pointed out that international treaties constitute an integral part of Russian law according to the Russian Constitution, even arguing—rather unorthodoxly—that international obligations take priority over domestic legislation, when the two are in conflict. Then, prosecutors cited the Convention for the Suppression of the Circulation of Obscene Publications , signed in Paris in 1910, and the subsequent international agreement signed in Geneva in 1923, both of which ban the production, possession, and distribution of pornographic materials. The signatories to these international accords were, of course, the Tsarist Empire and the Soviet Union, and the Apastovsky district attorney says today " s Russian Federation is still bound by these agreements.

Militants kill Christian teenagers for reading Bible, missionary says New Delhi, India Suspected Islamic militants have killed two Christian teenagers who were reading the Bible in the disputed Kashmir valley, divided between India and Muslim Pakistan, BosNewsLife established Tuesday, January 8. The victims were identified as Arifa, 17, and Akthar, 19, the daughters of Gulam Nabi Dar, said local missionary Mercy Ciniraj, who knew them well. “The [murdered] girls were believers and used to read the Bible through underground ministries.” She told BosNewsLife that “the girls were shot dead” last Monday, January 31, in the Baramulla area in Indian-controlled northern Kashmir, bordering Pakistan. They were “brutally murdered” by at least three fighters of Lashkar-e-Taiba, a Pakistan based Islamic militant “terrorist” group, she explained. Local police reportedly said in statements that they found two bodies near their home and that militants were to blame. ISLAMIC STATE Lashkar-e-Taiba, or the ‘Army of the Righteous’, seeks to introduce an Islamic state in South Asia and to “liberate” Muslims in Indian-controlled Kashmir. India has identified the group as the alleged masterminds behind the the 2008 terror attack on the Indian financial capital of Mumbai that killed 166 people. The killings of Arifa and Akthar show that militant attacks also include targeting devoted minority Christians, Ciniraj suggested. The girls’ involvement in Bible reading was among several projects of mission group Salem Voice Ministries (SVM), which supports evangelism and aid among Muslims and Hindus in India, including through underground house churches in Muslim-majority Kashmir. BELIEVERS IN FEAR After last week’s killings, however, local “believers are totally in fear,” added Ciniraj, who founded SVM with her husband, Indian pastor Paul Ciniraj, a former Muslim. The January 31 attack was believed to be the first incident of civilian killings by militants in the Kashmir valley, this year. The violence also added to other difficulties of Christians in Kashmir valley, as they suffered of diseases, explained Mercey Ciniraj to BosNewsLife. “Since the last one and half months we all are fed up with different types of sickness. Few days we suffered with reddish eyes one by one [and] after that we were attacked with viral fever too,” she said, adding that local believers asked for prayers. Despite their concerns, local Christian workers plan to continue preaching the Gospel of Jesus Christ who they believe gives eternal life to everyone who believes in Him, Ciniray stressed. “By God’s grace now we recovered [of illnesses] and are fully active with the underground church ministries and reaching the Gospel at any cost who never have a chance to hear it.” Stephan J. Thousands to walk Via Dolorosa today in Jerusalem with prayer for Ukraine Moscow, April 14, 2017 Photo: ibtimes.co.uk      Orthodox believers from Ukraine and various corners of the earth will walk the Via Dolorosa, or Way of Sorrow, bearing copies of famous wonderworking icons of the Mother of God from Ukraine, reports the site of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church. “Every year, on Holy Friday in Jerusalem they have a cross procession along those streets where the feet of Christ the Savior stepped, Who bore His heavy Cross. The rite of this procession is celebrated every year, headed by His Beatitude the Patriarch of Jerusalem and All Palestine,” said Met. Anthony (Pakanich), Chancellor of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church. “The mission ‘The Way of the Lord in Prayer for Ukraine’ is a large-scale procession organized by the Ukrainian Orthodox Church. This procession is a doubly-special prayer for our much-suffering Ukraine,” the hierarch continued. The idea for the mission first appeared in Eastern Ukraine, where war has continued unabated for three years already. “This is a special prayer that unites Jerusalem and Ukraine. Parishioners of our Eastern dioceses took the initiative for such a procession. His Beatitude Metropolitan Onuphry blessed this prayer. Icons from all corners of Ukraine are brought to Jerusalem. At the same time, prayers are offered at these icons in northern, southern, eastern, western, and central Ukraine. We, faithful people, place all of our hope in God, and therefore we believe that the Lord, Who suffered during these days in Jerusalem, and the Mother of God, who was present, will certainly help,” said Met. Anthony. Following the procession along the Way of Sorrow, organizers will present the icons to Patriarch Theophilus III of Jerusalem in his residence on the eve of Holy Saturday, with a request for prayer for Ukraine.

The relics of holy Hieromartyr Athanasius have been translated several times. The Monastery of St. Simeon suffered a fire in 1815; the relics were found to be intact and reinterred beneath the altar when the church was rebuilt, eventually moved into the sarcophagus so the parishioners could pray over the relics. In 1893, the relics were transferred to the church named in the hieromartyr’s honor in Grodno; and some of the relics were subsequently moved to an Orthodox convent in the bordering province of Lublin; when the nuns were relocated first to Siberia and then to Paris, the relics of St. Athanasius went with them, before being restored to Lublin in 1996. The courage, the steadfastness in the faith, and the love for the persecuted by which the holy monk lived his life are virtues for which all Orthodox Christians should strive; and St. Athanasius of Brest-Litovsk remains a beloved source of inspiration for Russian and Polish Orthodox Christians alike. In divine things, the same order he preserved throughout, as far as concerns those things which are performed to the gods. For sacred things are performed by men in places and times. These four things I have mentioned he embraced in twelve books, allotting three to each. For he wrote the first three concerning men, the following three concerning places, the third three concerning times, and the fourth three concerning sacred rites – showing who should perform, where they should perform, when they should perform, what they should perform, with most subtle distinction. But because it was necessary to say – and that especially was expected – to whom they should perform sacred rites, he wrote concerning the gods themselves the last three books; and these five times three made fifteen. But they are in all, as we have said, sixteen. For he put also at the beginning of these one distinct book, speaking by way of introduction of all which follows; which being finished, he proceeded to subdivide the first three in that five-fold distribution which pertain to men, making the first concerning high priests, the second concerning augurs, the third concerning the fifteen men presiding over the sacred ceremonies. The second three he made concerning places, speaking in one of them concerning their chapels, in the second concerning their temples, and in the third concerning religious places. The next three which follow these, and pertain to times – that is, to festival days – he distributed so as to make one concerning holidays, the other concerning the circus games, and the third concerning scenic plays. Of the fourth three, pertaining to sacred things, he devoted one to consecrations, another to private, the last to public, sacred rites. In the three which remain, the gods themselves follow this pompous train, as it were, for whom all this culture has been expended. In the first book are the certain gods, in the second the uncertain, in the third, and last of all, the chief and select gods. Chapter 4.– That from the Disputation of Varro, It Follows that the Worshippers of the Gods Regard Human Things as More Ancient Than Divine Things.
